It All Started with a Van Called Rohmer
The Story Behind the Brand
VanagonGear was born from Roaming with Rohmer, a YouTube channel and creative project by Anton Hempstock. It began with a van build, and evolved into something bigger: an honest, ongoing story about travel, mental health, neurodiversity, and the value of slowing down, showing up, and sharing the ride.

Rohmer is a 1987 VW Vanagon Syncro with a 2.0L TDI heart, custom mods, and more road stories than most people. It’s been Anton’s home, escape pod, and co-pilot—and a key part of what inspired this brand.
